Club Constitution

On the 19th of August 2017 the Club members present voted to move to the NSW Fair Trading Model Constitution at the Annual General Meeting.

The Model Constitution was developed based on the Associations Incorporation Act of 2009 introduced through legislation by the New South Wales Parliament.

NSW Fair Trading had built in a review date for the model constitution of 2016, and a further 5 year review. The results of the later review has led to a new model constitution, which has far better layout and very few changes.  Under the legislation the September 2022 version is automatically adopted by the Club, as will future versions.

The Committee will carefully consider each update to the model, and should it believe there are changes not beneficial to the members, bring their views to the members for discussion, acceptance or propose changes. No changes can be made to the Club Constitution without a membership vote.
